Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. and Provincial Administrator Raul Banias led the turning over of 3,200 LED lights to the 13 district hospitals as part of its effort to promote energy efficiency. The LED lights are incentives of the Iloilo provincial government for winning the Energy Efficiency Excellence Awards by the Department of Energy.
The turn-over ceremony was held during the regular flag ceremony on Monday, April 8, 2024, as one of the kickoff activities for the 123rd Semana sang Iloilo.
