Experience
Nathalie Ann Formacion Debuque currently serves as the Vice Governor of the Province of Iloilo. She made history as the youngest mayor in the Philippines in 2016 at the age of 22 and later as the youngest Vice Governor of Iloilo at the age of 31. In her mandate as Vice Governor, she presides over the Committee on Women and Family Affairs, the Committee on Health and Sanitation, and the Committee on Transportation, Communication, and Public Utilities in the 15th Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Iloilo.
Elected Mayor of the Municipality of Anilao in 2016, she led with transparent, accountable, youth-oriented, and participatory governance, enabling Anilao to secure the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) for six separate years — a testament to her administration’s consistent excellence in governance.
Personal Life
She is the eldest daughter of Joel “Batok” Arandilla Debuque of Anilao, former Mayor of the Municipality of Anilao, and Ma. Teresa “Matet” Sumagaysay Formacion of Janiuay, who served as Municipal Councilor of Janiuay from 1992 to 1995 and subsequently as Mayor of Anilao. Growing up with parents who both served as Mayors instilled in her a deep commitment to public service and community leadership.
