Passengers at Iloilo International Airport (IIA) can now enjoy a smoother travel experience with the arrival of 75 newly designed pushcarts, thanks to a partnership between the Iloilo Provincial Government and Grab Philippines.
Unveiled in a turnover ceremony at IIA, the pushcarts are designed not just for functionality but also to showcase Iloilo’s vibrant culture through its Fun, Foodie, and Friendly tourism branding.
These additions aim to ease the baggage-handling experience for both local and international travelers, reinforcing Iloilo’s commitment to providing world-class hospitality.
The turnover ceremony was attended by Atty. Dennis Ventilacion, Head of the Legal Office, representing Governor Arthur R. Defensor, Jr., Mr. Arthur Parreño, PTB Supervisor; Ms. CJ Lacsican, Grab Director and Vice President; Mr. Jay Lim, Regional Manager for Visayas Grab; and Joann Yoshida, External Consultant for Grab Operations in Western Visayas.
The initiative, made possible through the collaboration of the Provincial Culture, Arts, History, and Tourism Office, the Provincial Administrator’s Office, and Grab Philippines, highlights Iloilo’s dedication to enhancing its tourism services and making travel more enjoyable for visitors.
