Lawyers from the Iloilo Provincial Government were recognized during the provincial flag ceremony earlier today for their outstanding performance in the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Western Visayas Regional Convention and Sportsfest.
The recognition was made through Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 2026-670, which congratulates and commends the lawyers for bringing honor to the province through their achievements in different sports events.
Among those recognized was Atty. Jordana Mari Jaco of the Office of Board Member Rolando B. Distura, who won the Women's Doubles Tennis Championship and finished as Finalist in the Mixed Doubles Pickleball event.
Also recognized was Atty. Dominic Paul C. Oso, Board Member of the Fourth District of Iloilo, who was Finalist in the Men's Doubles Pickleball Intermediate category.
Atty. Ray John M. Agregado of the Office of Board Member Germinanda was honored for winning the Chess Championship.
Atty. Mark David Dacula of the Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office and Atty. Niel C. Rosales of the Provincial Legal Office were also recognized as members of the Men's Basketball Championship team.
Meanwhile, Atty. John Dexter A. Fuentes of the Provincial Administrator's Office won the Men's Doubles Badminton Championship and finished as Finalist in the Mixed Doubles Badminton event.
The Provincial Government thanked the awardees for bringing pride to Iloilo and for showing excellence both in their work and in sports.
