The Iloilo Provincial Government is set to build the Iloilo Smart Green Government Center, a modern, sustainable, and tech-driven hub that will enhance government services for Ilonggos.
Officials from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 6 and the Iloilo Provincial Engineer's Office (PEO) discussed plans for the center's construction. The meeting was led by DPWH Regional Director Sanny Boy O. Oropel, Provincial Administrator Raul Banias, and PEO Head Engr. Romeo Andig.
Set to rise on a 6.3-hectare provincial lot spanning Barangays Bolong Oeste and Inangayan in Sta. Barbara, the state-of-the-art facility will integrate sustainable design, smart technology, and efficient government operations.
This initiative aligns with the Iloilo Provincial Government’s commitment to innovation, environmental sustainability, and public service excellence. The collaborative effort between DPWH and PEO marks a significant step in making this visionary project a reality.
The Iloilo Smart Green Government Center is poised to become a landmark development, ensuring better accessibility, improved government services, and a greener future for the province. More updates on the project’s progress are expected in the coming months.
