As part of the nationwide 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW), the Iloilo Provincial Government through the GADIloilo is hosting a free legal advice initiative designed to support individuals who have experienced abuse or gender-based violence.
The initiative dubbed “Alalayi Si Babaye” is spearheaded by the Provincial Population Office (PPO), in partnership with the Central Philippine University College of Law.
Scheduled on November 28 and December 5, the activity provides a safe, confidential, and supportive space for clients seeking guidance on legal remedies available to them.
The activity forms part of the province’s broader effort to strengthen protection services, raise awareness on gender-based violence, and foster a community where every woman feels supported and heard.
