The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO Province Of Iloilo), in partnership with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Iloilo and the Iloilo Provincial Health Office, recently held a financial literacy forum alongside the provision of free medical services for senior citizens and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) leaders from across the province.
The financial literacy symposium, themed "Know Your Money," aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge on financial management, empowering them to make informed decisions about their finances.
Simultaneously, the Provincial Health Office provided free medical check-ups and nutrition assessments.
Participants were also given free vitamins, maintenance medicines, and other health essentials, ensuring that their physical well-being was addressed in addition to their financial literacy.
The PSWDO expressed its gratitude to BSP Iloilo and the Provincial Health Office for their support which made the event a resounding success.
The initiative underscores the Iloilo Provincial Government’s commitment to improving the welfare of its senior citizens and PWD leaders, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to lead healthier, more financially secure lives.
