The Iloilo Provincial Health Office inspected potential breeding sites of mosquitoes in several households amid the rising cases of dengue in the province.
Among the places mosquitoes breed are stagnant puddles, gutters, water containers, flower pots, log stacks, garbage cans, old tires, and discarded water bottles.
Eliminating the potential breeding sites of mosquitoes is one of the most effective measures to prevent the spreading of dengue.
