The Municipality of Anilao's MDRRMO, in a vital partnership with the Iloilo Provincial Health Office, successfully conducted a 1-day BHERT (Barangay Health Emergency Response Team) training. This crucial initiative equipped all 21 Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams (BHERT) from Anilao with essential life-saving skills.
The comprehensive training covered critical topics designed to enhance our local emergency response capabilities:
* BHERT Orientation: Providing a foundational understanding of their vital role.
* CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation): Equipping responders with a fundamental life-saving technique.
* Bleeding Control: Teaching immediate and effective measures for managing injuries.
* Immobilization: Demonstrating proper techniques for stabilizing injuries.
* Foreign Body Airway Obstruction: Training on how to respond to choking emergencies.
* Early Warning Systems: Understanding the importance and implementation of timely alerts for disaster preparedness.
A huge round of applause and heartfelt thanks to MDRRMO Anilao and especially to Ma'am Ann Flores for their dedication and for making this impactful partnership and training possible! Your commitment to strengthening our community's resilience is truly commendable.
