March 26, 2025 | Subay Suba Phase 2 took place at Brgy. Binalud, Alimodian, Iloilo, in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Alimodian, through the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), led by Engr. Reno Alquisada.

The Aganan River stretch, part of the Tigum-Aganan Watershed, observed a decrease in water depth compared to November 2024 conduct. Further, this initiative aimed to assess stream flow patterns and identify thriving flora and fauna species in the area. The activity provided valuable insights into how stream flow patterns influence the characteristics of the stream and impact the abundance and composition of flora and fauna species.

Beyond data gathering, this hands-on experience allowed participants to see for themselves the current status of the ecosystem and appreciate the interconnected relationships within the ecosystem.

Together with the PGENRO team, personnel from Metro Iloilo Water District (MIWD), MENRO San Miguel, and MENRO Pavia, also joined the activity.
