The Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office-Energy Efficiency and Conservation Desk - IPG joined the Hybrid Wind-Solar System Inauguration and Dedication Program at Danao-Danao Primary School, Sitio Danao-Danao, Brgy. Polopiña, Concepcion, Iloilo.
The Hybrid Wind-Solar System was made possible through the USAID-Energy Secure Philippines (ESP) - Energy Knowledge Empowerment in Western Visayas (EKEWV), a grant through the CPU Wind Energy Research and Development Facility.
The Savonious-type wind turbine with solar panel aims to provide an additional power source for the community.
The ribbon-cutting and turning-on ceremony signifies the success brought by vision and collaboration. The project symbolizes the continuous effort to improve the socio-economic well-being and positive environmental action through renewable energy directly received at a local government level.
