The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) convened this afternoon for its 3rd Quarter Meeting to discuss various concerns and issues affecting the province.
Gov. Arthur Defensor, Jr. led the meeting, where different offices and agencies presented updates on key concerns, including dengue, red-striped soft scale insect (RSSI), flooding, African Swine Fever (ASF), and waste disposal.
The council also discussed possible short- and long-term solutions to address these concerns and strengthen the province’s disaster preparedness and response.
