March 25, 2025 | In collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Tigbauan, through the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) led by Atty. Gerrylin S. Camposagrado, the Penro-lgu Iloilo Ipg team embarked on Subay-Suba phase 2 at Brgy. Cordova Sur & Codova Norte, Tigbauan, Iloilo.

This initiative aimed to assess stream flow patterns and identify thriving flora and fauna species in the area. The activity provided valuable insights into how stream flow patterns influence the characteristics of the stream and impact the abundance and composition of flora and fauna species.

Beyond data gathering, this hands-on experience allowed participants to see for themselves the current status of the ecosystem and appreciate the interconnected relationships within the ecosystem.

Honorable Mayor Atty. Vigilio T. Teruel, LGU Tigbauan department heads, Tigbauan Brgy. Kagawad for Environment, and the Barangay Local Government Units (BLGU) of Brgy. Cordova Sur, Cordova Norte, and Bogasong, Iloilo, graced the activity, among others.
