The Province of Iloilo took part in the opening of the Slow Food Earth Market and Slow Food Product Exhibit in Western Visayas held on April 27, 2026 at the Event Center of The Shops at Atria Park District, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
The activity is led by the Department of Tourism Region VI in partnership with Slow Food communities in Iloilo and Negros Island.
The event promotes food that is good, clean, and fair. It also supports local farmers, fisherfolk, and artisans while helping preserve local food traditions and culture.
The exhibit will run from April 27 to 29, 2026, featuring different local food products and cuisines from Region VI.
The said activity helps promote local tourism through food and highlights Iloilo’s rich culinary heritage.
