OIC-Governor and Provincial Administrator Raul Banias handed over P21 million in financial assistance to the municipality of San Rafael.
The funding includes P20 million dedicated for the construction of a warehouse for the municipality’s rice mill program and P1 million for the installation of solar streetlights at the NHA Housing Project in Barangay Poscolon.
Present at the turnover ceremony were Acting Provincial Agriculturist Geron Magbanua, PGENRO Supervising Environmental Management Specialist Mitzi Peñaflorida, and Executive Assistant to the Governor Niel Tupas III.
This initiative aligns with Governor Arthur Defensor Jr.’s priority programs to bolster the province’s agricultural sector and empower local communities.
