The Iloilo Provincial Government, through Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr., released ₱8 million to the Municipality of Calinog for the construction of the School of Living Tradition at Fernandez Perez Memorial National High School.

The project aims to preserve and promote Indigenous cultural heritage by providing a dedicated space for teaching traditional knowledge, arts, and crafts to younger generations.

Governor Defensor emphasized the province’s commitment to supporting education and cultural development, ensuring that local traditions remain vibrant for future Ilonggos.
