The Iloilo Provincial Government has provided ₱300,000 in financial assistance each to three barangays in San Joaquin, Iloilo for the construction of solar streetlights.
The beneficiaries are Barangay Lopez Vito, Barangay San Luis, and Barangay Jawon.
Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. personally handed over the cheques to the respective punong barangays during the distribution this morning.
The assistance aims to support the barangays in improving their street lighting and providing safer and more accessible roads for residents.
