The Iloilo Provincial Government has distributed a ₱10-million cheque to the Philippine Crops Insurance Corporation (PCIC) to support insurance coverage for the province’s agri-fishery projects and programs.
The fund transfer is part of the SIGURADO Project, which aims to provide insurance protection to beneficiaries of the province’s agriculture and fishery programs.
The ₱10-million fund will be used for the insurance coverage of all agri-fishery projects and programs of the Province of Iloilo, helping protect farmers, fisherfolk, and their livelihood from possible losses caused by unforeseen events.
