Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. hands over the symbolic key for the BJMP Transport Vehicle to Iloilo District Jail, Iloilo District Jail Main Building Warden Jail Chief Insp. Mark Malhabour with Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Assistant Regional Director JSSupt. Vicente Papelera, and Acting Warden of IDJ-MD Annex Jail Senior Inspector Dever Fantilaga.

Gov. Defensor donated Php1.7 million for the purchase of the BJMP Transport Vehicle which could greatly enhance the capability of the BJMP in transporting PDLs (persons deprived of liberty) to the courts to attend their hearings.
