Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. distributed checks totaling P21,822,129 this morning to support various infrastructure projects in different local government units across the province.
The financial assistance covers the following projects:
▫️ P3,382,129 – Construction of a stage at Milan Sports Complex in Barangay Milan, Lemery.
▫️ P4,250,000 – Construction of a multi-purpose hall in Barangay Pungsod, Lambunao.
▫️ P3,240,000 – Purchase of a 1,080-square-meter lot for a multi-purpose center or similar government facility in Barangay Batu-an, Pototan.
▫️ P950,000 – Concreting of a barangay road leading to the multi-purpose center in Barangay Igtambo, San Miguel.
▫️ P5,000,000 – Completion of the Motorpool in Lemery.
▫️ P1,000,000 – Rehabilitation of the multi-purpose pavement in Barangay Caranas, Janiuay.
▫️ P4,000,000 – Construction of two classroom units at Bilidan Elementary School in New Lucena.
The assistance is part of the Iloilo Provincial Government’s continuing support for local infrastructure projects aimed at improving public facilities and services in communities.
