Officers of the Veterans Federation of the Philippines (VFP) Region 6 paid a courtesy visit to Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. to personally invite him to the commemoration of the 81st Victory Day Celebration of the Liberation of Panay, Romblon, and Guimaras Islands on March 18.
Governor Defensor assured his full support for the celebration, which honors the courage and sacrifices of Ilonggo World War II veterans.
Following the courtesy call, the Technical Working Committee of VFP Region 6 convened their final meeting at the Governor’s Boardroom to finalize preparations for the upcoming event.
