ANOTHER OTOP PHILIPPINES HUB OPENS IN ILOILO

The Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) One Town, One Product (OTOP) Philippines program continues to empower local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with the opening of another OTOP Philippines Hub in Iloilo.

This initiative, a flagship program of DTI, provides retail spaces to showcase unique, high-quality products that represent the culture and craftsmanship of various communities.

In collaboration with the Integrated Entrepreneurs of Iloilo Philippines, Inc. (IEIPI) and with the support of the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion (LEDIP) Office-Iloilo Province, the second OTOP PH Hub in the province was officially launched earlier today at Casa Real, Iloilo Provincial Capitol, Iloilo City.

The ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing and ribbon-cutting ceremony was graced by DTI Iloilo Provincial Director Ma. Dinda R. Tamayo and IEIPI President Catherine V. Taleon, with the presence of key stakeholders, including EnP. Aulynn B. Yue Sin and Ms. Girlie Flores.

This milestone underscores the growing partnership among the DTI, local entrepreneurs—known as OTOPreneurs—and the Iloilo Provincial Government.

It highlights the province's commitment to celebrating its rich culture, delectable cuisine, and exceptional creativity through artisan products and services.

As Iloilo continues to establish itself as a fun, foodie, and friendly destination, this new hub provides a platform to support and uplift local businesses while promoting the province's identity on a broader stage.
