The Philippine Veterinary Medical Association, Inc. (PVMA) paid a courtesy visit to the Iloilo Provincial Government to seek provincial support for its 93rd PVMA Scientific Conference and Annual Convention scheduled on February 18–20, 2026 at the Iloilo Convention Center.
The delegation was received by Provincial Administrator Raul Banias and Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Darel Tabuada on behalf of Governor Arthur R. Defensor Jr.
The meeting highlighted PVMA’s request for partnership in hosting the national event themed “Empowering the Filipino Veterinarians, Expanding Impact.”
Banias assured the province’s support to the convention, expected to draw veterinarians from across the country and boost local economic activity, benefiting Iloilo’s tourism, transport, and service sectors.
