
The Iloilo Provincial Government, through its Iloilo Provincial Agriculture Office – Livestock Division, is gearing up for the much-anticipated 2025 Livestock and Poultry Week, a province-wide celebration that will spotlight sustainable innovations and success stories in animal farming.
Scheduled to open on April 28, 2025, the event will bring together farmers, industry players, and stakeholders to discuss modern strategies for swine management amid the continuing threat of African Swine Fever (ASF).
Experts and practitioners will share practical approaches and breakthrough practices that have helped local producers remain resilient.
As part of the opening day festivities, the public can also look forward to a Cooking Show from April 28 to 30, 2025, at SM City Iloilo.
This culinary showcase, conducted in partnership with the Provincial Tourism Office, will feature local ingredients and livestock products, highlighting the farm-to-table goodness of Iloilo’s agri-food value chain.
On April 29, a series of focused seminars will take place in Leon, Iloilo, each tailored to empower specific sectors of the livestock industry:
