The Iloilo Provincial Government renewed P7 million in loan assistance to two cooperatives under the Mangunguma Sapnayon Palay Price Support Program of the Provincial Cooperatives Development Office Iloilo (PCDO).

The Zarraga Multi-Purpose Cooperative received P5 million, while the Kabaliklat Cooperative in Bingawan was granted P2 million.

This renewal ensures that the cooperatives can continue supporting local farmers by stabilizing palay prices and strengthening their trading capacity.

The financial assistance was handed over by Provincial Administrator Raul Banias and PCDO Chief Atty. Arturo Cangrejo to the officers of the beneficiary cooperatives.

Through strategic interventions like the Mangunguma Sapnayon program, the Iloilo Provincial Government continues to empower farmers and reinforce the local agricultural economy, aligning with its goal of sustainable and inclusive growth in the province.
