Trixia Anne “Super Tikya” Arellano, the pride of Concepcion, Iloilo, paid a courtesy visit to her townmate and former Concepcion Mayor, Provincial Administrator Raul Banias.
Super Tikya was proclaimed the Most Bemadalled Athlete in the Elementary Girls Division of the recently concluded Palarong Pambansa 2026 in Agusan del Sur. She captured four gold medals in the 100-meter run, 200-meter run, 4x100-meter relay, and 4x400-meter relay.
A Grade 7 student of Concepcion Central School and a native of Barangay Loong, she is also known as the “barefoot runner” for competing without running shoes. She was accompanied by her supportive parents, Hernan and Divenissa.
Banias said the cash incentives for Super Tikya’s gold medal victories are now being processed. Under Provincial Ordinance No. 2000-217, each gold medalist is entitled to receive ₱8,000.
