The third simulation exercise evaluated coordination and response capabilities during a simulated coastal attack and territorial infiltration at Barangays Cataan and Igcundao in San Joaquin.
Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. officially initiated the drill by firing an artillery cannon.
The exercise featured an attack on the coasts of San Joaquin which caused disturbance to the local community and damage in infrastructure.
In response, the local government of San Joaquin immediately activated its Operations Center and Incident Management Team. Through the unified efforts of the SWAT team and the military, responders successfully neutralized the threat and stabilized the area.
This exercise demonstrated successful military operations and LGU coordination in responding to territorial security threats.
It also marked the culmination of the two-day Inter-Agency Territorial Defense Operations Exercise “Pag-Ugyon” 2026.
The first day was held in the municipality of Miagao where the participating agencies and local government units showcased their capabilities in responding to civilian spillover and missile attack.
