Joint elements of the Iloilo Provincial Bantay Dagat Task Force, the 2nd Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company, and the Regional Intelligence Unit apprehended a resident of Barangay Tanza, Estancia for piloting F/B Jesiel Ann while engaging in Round Haul Seine fishing, locally known as "Baling."
The boat captain and his crew were caught operating at around 8:10 PM on Tuesday, off the waters of Barangay Agdaliran, San Dionisio, Iloilo.
The confiscated vessel and fishing paraphernalia are currently in the custody of the Iloilo Provincial Bantay Dagat Task Force for appropriate legal action.
