Iloilo Province strengthened its investment framework with a recent Local Investments and Incentives Code (LIIC) Enhancement Writeshop.
This activity, in partnership with key national agencies including the National Economic and Development Authority, the Department of the Interior and Local Government, the Bureau of Local Government Finance, and the Department of Trade and Industry, focused on refining the LIIC for Iloilo Province and the municipalities of Ajuy, Anilao, and Oton.
The event featured a hybrid setup, allowing additional participants from other local government units (LGUs) to join the discussions online via Zoom.
The event brought together diverse stakeholders from the public and private sectors, fostering constructive dialogue and aligning local strategies with national investment laws.
This initiative aims to enhance the local investment climate and ensures that Iloilo Province and its municipalities are well-equipped to attract and retain investors, driving sustainable growth for the province.
