The Galing Pook Committee is conducting a site validation on the Iloilo Provincial Government’s program “Puso Para sa Puso - Movement for Healthy Hearts Towards MoRProGRes Iloilo” on September 2 to 3, 2024.
The Galing Pook team is led by Former DILG Undersecretary Austere Panadero and Prof. Ruben Gamala of the University of the Philippines Visayas.
Iloilo’s entry to the Galing Pook Award involves the provincial government’s implementation of the World Health Organization’s Healthy Hearts Program which led to the reduction of risks of Ilonggos against cardiovascular diseases through hypertension control.
