In a recent meeting with municipal leaders, including PPSK Iloilo Province President Esara Aldeguer-Javier, the Provincial Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) officials of the Iloilo Provincial Population Office unveiled plans for the Family and Youth Development Centers (FYDC).

The project will initially focus on five municipalities—Igbaras, New Lucena, Calinog, Lambunao, and San Dionisio—which will serve as pilot areas.

These centers will provide crucial spaces for youth offices and the Sangguniang Kabataan, offering a dedicated environment for leadership, engagement, and community-building activities.

This initiative is set to have a profound and lasting impact on youth empowerment in the region, strengthening local youth development programs, enhancing leadership opportunities, and fostering greater involvement in civic life.
