The Iloilo Provincial Health Office conducted an orientation and rollout of the HIV Public Health Detailing (PHD) Action Kit for Municipal Health Officers (MHOs) and nurses from Pavia and Sta. Barbara.
The initiative highlighted the rising number of HIV cases in Western Visayas and reinforced key strategies such as regular screening and testing, sexual history taking, access to Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), and the promotion of U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable). This activity aimed to enhance awareness, improve early detection, and strengthen evidence-based HIV prevention and care in the community.
