Around 250 students of Dagami Elementary School and Dagami National High School in Barangay Dagami, Maasin received basic oral health services and oral hygiene education through the Oral Health Program of the Iloilo Provincial Health Office (PHO).
The activity aimed to promote proper oral hygiene practices and prevent tooth decay among schoolchildren. It included oral health education sessions, fluoride application, and the distribution of oral hygiene kits from Colgate-Palmolive, Inc. through its Bright Smiles, Bright Futures Program.
The initiative was conducted in partnership with the Maasin Rural Health Unit (RHU) and the Local Government of Maasin, as part of the continuing efforts of the Provincial Government of Iloilo to promote preventive health care and ensure that children in schools maintain healthy, confident smiles.
