The Iloilo Provincial Health Office (PHO) held a ceremonial vaccination as part of its campaign to protect children against measles.
The activity is part of the "Ligtas Tigdas" program, a Supplemental Immunization Activity against measles and rubella.
The PHO encourages parents to have their children aged six to 59 months vaccinated to help protect them from these diseases.
Parents may bring their children to the nearest health center in their area to receive the free vaccine.
