Mental health support is set to become more accessible in every barangay of Alimodian after all 51 barangays formally backed the Program for Resilience of Iloilo in Mind and Emotion (PRIME) and joined the PRIME Helpline Orientation.
The Provincial PRIME Team introduced the program’s 24/7 mental health emergency support services and distributed PRIME banners through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.
The initiative aims to make mental health services more visible and easier to reach at the community level, ensuring residents experiencing anxiety, emotional distress or crisis know where to seek immediate help.
The passage of executive orders by all 51 barangays was also recognized during the activity, highlighting a town-wide commitment to strengthen mental health awareness and build faster community-based response mechanisms for those in need.
This unified effort brings help closer to families and individuals, emphasizing that with PRIME’s round-the-clock helpline available, one call or text can make a difference for anyone facing a mental health emergency in Iloilo Province.
