The Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office - Energy Efficiency and Conservation Desk has successfully conducted a coordination meeting with the Oton and Tigbauan Local Government Units in preparation for an Energy Audit by the Department of Energy today, May 8, 2025.
The LGU’s EECO (Energy Efficiency and Conservation Officer) and EEC focal person, as well as the members of their respective offices were present to learn about the documentary requirements and procedures that are needed for the Energy Audit.
The DOE’s Energy Audit is an analysis to determine an institution’s compliance to the Government Energy Management Program; pursuant to R.A. 11285 better known as the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act of 2019.
