The Union of Filipino Tourism Educators, Inc. (UFTE), led by its President Dr. Rumar Abaigar of Sapphire International Aviation Academy Manila, paid a courtesy call on Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. on Thursday morning.
Joining Dr. Abaigar were UFTE Vice President Dr. Ivan Bartolata (Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite), Iloilo Tourism and Hospitality Educators Association OIC-President Prof. Marianne Galaraga, and Iloilo City Tourism Officer Junel Ann Divinagracia.
The delegation met with the Governor to discuss details regarding their upcoming national convention scheduled in Iloilo this November. The governor committed support for the conduct of the event.
