The Iloilo Provincial Government gave cash incentives to three board exam topnotchers from the province in recognition of their outstanding achievements in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) and the Pharmacists Licensure Examination.
Nicole Alyana Macainan of Igbaras, Iloilo, who graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in General Science from West Visayas State University, received ₱15,000 after placing 5th in the Licensure Examination for Teachers held in March 2026.
Meanwhile, Royce Arjan Fantillan of Oton, a graduate of the University of San Agustin, placed 1st, while Nepth Micro Apil of Lemery, a graduate of Central Philippine University, placed 5th in the Pharmacists Licensure Examination conducted in April 2026. Fantillan received ₱20,000, while Apil received ₱15,000.
"Gusto ko magpasalamat gid sa Iloilo Provincial Government for providing platforms or incentives sa aton nga mga topnotchers sa pagdala sang ngalan sang Iloilo," Apil said.
Governor Arthur R. Defensor Jr. personally congratulated Macainan and Fantillan during their courtesy visit. Apil was unable to attend because of a prior commitment.
