The Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO)–Iloilo recently conducted a Governance and Management of Cooperatives Training for officers of the Metro Iloilo Transport (MITS) Cooperative.
The training aimed to deepen the participants’ understanding of cooperative principles, organizational management, and good governance to ensure accountability, transparency, and sustainability in their operations.
The training included topics on the roles and responsibilities of cooperative officers, effective decision-making, compliance with cooperative laws, and strategies for strengthening institutional performance.
