Officers and members of the Salngan Agrarian Reform Cooperative (ARC) in Passi City are now better equipped to strengthen their organization after completing a two-day capability-building training conducted by the Office of the Provincial Cooperative Development Officer (OPCDO)-Iloilo in partnership with the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR).
The training provided cooperative leaders and members with practical knowledge on cooperative operations, governance, and management.
The PCDO said through interactive discussions, participants gained insights into strengthening member participation, improving decision-making, and managing their cooperative more effectively to better serve agrarian reform beneficiaries and their communities.
ARC empowers local farmers through organic rice enterprise development, access to farm inputs, and post-harvest facilities that help improve farm productivity, reduce production costs, and increase farmers' incomes.
