As part of the National Women's Month celebration, the Iloilo Provincial Government in partnership with the Iloilo Provincial Employees and Community Multi-purpose Cooperative (IPECMPC) and the Association of Iloilo Provincial Government Employees (AIPGE) conducted a culminating activity entitled Expression of Women's Resiliency: Sharing women's strengths and commitment amidst the pandemic at the Casa Real Social Hall this morning.
Gov. Arthur Defensor, Jr. and Vice Gov. Christine Garin graced the activity which was attended by various women's groups in the province.
The event was highlighted by the giving of Certificates of Recognition to eight Resilient Women, namely, Fatima Ibanen (President of Igbaras Federation Farmers Association); Violeta Gicana (President of Iloilo Provincial Federation of Barangay Health Workers); Maylyn Inso (President of Child Development Worker Association); Corazon Lebata (President of Senior Citizen Federation Association of Iloilo Inc.); Catherine Taleon (President of Integrated Entrepreneurs of the Province of Iloilo); Mary Joy Baticolon (KALIPI President); Ana Liza Hudierez (President of PWD Provincial Federation); and Ma. Rosalie Andrade (Treasurer of Solo Parent Organization).
