The Iloilo Provincial Government, through the Provincial Nutrition Committee, supports the celebration of Breastfeeding Awareness Month this August.
This year’s theme is “Closing the Gap: Breastfeeding Support for All” which aims to celebrate breastfeeding mothers in all their diversity throughout their breastfeeding journeys while showcasing the ways families, societies, communities, and health workers can have the back of every breastfeeding mother.
Last August 10, 2024, the provincial government, in coordination with Breastfeeding Ilonggas, hosted the 10-year celebration of Hakab Na! Iloilo 2024 is a manifestation of its commitment to ensuring that the Iloilo Provincial Capitol is a mother-baby-friendly workplace.
