Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr., together with Provincial Administrator Raul Banias, department heads, and employees of the Provincial Government, joined the first flag-raising ceremony of 2026 this morning, reaffirming their collective commitment to public service.
In his message, Governor Defensor expressed gratitude to the provincial government personnel for their dedication and urged them to sustain their exemplary work. He highlighted that the year’s endeavors begin with the celebration of Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan during the Iloilo Dinagyang Festival, which he emphasized will serve as a vital platform to showcase and promote tourism in the province.
