The selected Boys and Girls Officials of the Province of Iloilo officially assumed their respective positions today as part of the 2026 Linggo ng Kabataan celebration organized by the Provincial Panlalawigang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan (PPSK-Iloilo).
The Boy Governor formally took office at the Office of the Governor, while the other Boys and Girls Officials reported to their assigned provincial offices to begin their duties as counterparts of elected provincial officials.
As part of their first day in office, the Boys and Girls Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan participated in the regular session of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, where they observed and experienced the legislative process firsthand.
The Boys and Girls Officials were selected from among student leaders across the province through a competitive application process. Fifteen youth representatives were chosen to serve in various key positions during the Linggo ng Kabataan celebration, which aims to develop leadership, promote civic engagement, and encourage the active participation of the youth in local governance.
