The Fourth Congressional District is also known as the HISTORICAL-ADVENTURE DESTINATION of the province comprising the towns of Dumangas, Dingle, Duenas, Passi City, San Enrique, Barotac Nuevo, Anilao and Banate. It is the third largest in terms of land area and population in the province.
The area is also filled with mystery, tradition and outdoor adventures in abundance. There is so much to see from the windswept national parks of Bulabog Puti-an National Park in Dingle, not forgetting the city of Passi with 16 caves. Underwater lovers will also thrill at the diversity of corals in Hobtkan Rok Marine Sanctuary in Banate. Explore the colonial Spanish towns of Dumangas, Duenas and Barotac Nuevo.
There are 16 accommodation establishments in the district offering 100 air-conditioned rooms and 66 fan rooms. The district ranked the fifth biggest contributor of tourist arrivals for the province.
To get to Dumangas, visitors can take a van at Baldoza Transport Terminal at Zone 3, Barangay Baldoza, Lapaz, Iloilo City. For those going to Passi City, busses are available at North Central Iloilo Transport Terminal in Barangay Tagbak, Jaro, Iloilo City.
