Defensor assures ‘economic enterprise’ won’t hike hospital fees

The Iloilo Sangguniang Panlalawigan has approved on third and final reading yesterday (Dec. 2) an ordinance converting the Iloilo Provincial Hospital and all the District Hospitals of the Province of Iloilo as Economic Enterprises.

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan has approved a resolution commending the Dingle Government Workers Development Cooperative (DGWDC) of the Municipality of Dingle for winning this year’s Search for Outstanding Cooperatives or Pinakatanging Kooperatiba (Gawad PITAK).

The Iloilo Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) has given Governor Arthur Defensor a go signal to contract a loan of P300 million from Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) for the repair and rehabilitation of the province’s four major hospitals.
