The farm has more than enough space for additional facilities like benches and eco trails, a viewing deck, camping ground, cottages, a convention center and comfort rooms for guests wanting to spend a night or two to savor the local food, fresh air and peace and quiet that only a farm far far away from the city can offer.

Guests would enjoy additional features like a composo of local folk songs, dances, and stories during bonfires. They can also watch fireflies at night. They can watch birds and butterflies, take in the beauty of the landscape from a viewing deck, pick and eat all the fruits that they can, and go boating and fishing in the pond during the day. They can hold retreats and Way of the Cross during Holy Week, and Flores de Mayo in May.

Possible market are families, youth and adult groups going on weekend retreats, students from pre-school to college on educational trips, professional groups on seminars or conferences, or just simple tourists wanting to have a break from the mess and stress of everyday life.

San Nicolas Ridge Farm is located about four kilometers from the Poblacion of Calinog, 65 kilometers northeast of Iloilo City. It has water and electricity, and a private road system that needs some improvement.

Ten hectares of the total 25 hectares of formerly sugarcane land now planted with exotic plants like heliconias, ginger, cattleya and cactus for cutflower production; and cordyline (or Ti plant), Japanese bamboo and dracaena for cutfoliage production on a commercial scale. About one hectare of this is devoted to palms and fruit trees like pili nut, pomelo, mangosteen, rambutan and lanzones for nuts and seeds production. The other 12 hectares are utilized as rice farms by 13 tenant families who are beneficiaries of the agrarian reform program.

It presently serves as a lakbay aral site for farmer scientists and agri-entrepreneurs affiliated with the Western Visayas Agriculture and Resources Research and Development Consortium (WESVARRDEC).
