A production area, a showcase of environment-friendly organic farming technology, a field trip site for school children wanting a chance to experience farm life, a relaxation area for families wanting a healthy and natural alternative to malls and the noise and expense of city life -- all of these can be found in JLP Farm, barangay Guinobatan, New Lucena, Iloilo.
Located 22.5 kilometers from Iloilo City (2.5 kms from the poblacion), this 21-hectare farm is composed of eight hectares rice land, two hectares forest land, two hectares orchard, six hectares cropland, and 1.5 hectares vegetable farm. About 1.5 hectares are occupied by structures like a training center, a health center, residential area and a road network that makes the farm easily accessible by car from the city and the airport in Cabatuan.
