Mr. Rico Lopez Silvestre received a check worth P10,000 from the Iloilo Provincial Government as a cash incentive for placing 7th place (with a rating of 90.15 per cent) in the 2023 Foresters Licensure Examination.
Human Resource Management and Development Office chief Atty. Renee Valencia, Local Legislative Staff Officer II Nove Oracion and HRMDO III Mariane Castillo turned over the check to Silvestre on December 27, 2023.
Silvestre is the first recipient of the Top 10 Incentives Ordinance of the Province of Iloilo which grants incentives to individuals who garnered the top 10 highest places in board examination, bar examination, and other national licensure examinations.
He completed his Bachelor of Science in Forestry degree from West Visayas State University Main Campus. He was born in Pototan but currently resides in Dueñas.
Under Provincial Ordinance No. 2023-295, top-notches of physician licensure examination and bar examination will receive the following:
Top 1 - P40,000
Top 2-5 - P20,000
Top 6-10 - P15,000
For other PRC and national licensure examinations:
Top 1 - P20,000
Top 2-5 - P15,000
Top 6-10 - P10,000
