The Iloilo Provincial Development Council (PDC) has approved the Annual Investment Program (AIP) for calendar year 2012 during its meeting at Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center on July 26, 2011.
Vice Governor Richard Garin presided the meeting on behalf of Governor Arthur Defensor, Sr. who is in Metro Manila on official business.

The Iloilo Provincial Government has delivered relief assistance to the 20 families in Brgy. Tacbuyan, Estancia, Iloilo whose houses were burned in a fire that occurred Wednesday last week.
As part of the endeavor of the Provincial Government to provide livelihood training to inmates of Iloilo Rehabilitation Center (IRC), the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) conducted two batches of technology training on March 17 and 24, 2010 at IRC Pototan Iloilo. Two new technologies were given to a total of 60 inmates as response to their primary needs inside the jail.
